Super epic sounds
Dude these are EPIC! God bless you for your contribution Alan! I agree with what you said about "eating lawn". Lol. I've struggled to make ends meet my whole life, and something like this is great for those who can't afford orchestral libraries. I do have some good soundfonts, but these are even bettter because of the integrated GUI controls which are relevant to the "playing techniques" for each instrument. For example, the "room" mix for the claves and wood blocks. And "release" for the gongs. Perhaps someday I might buy GPO or Vienna or EWQL, but right now I have to make due with what I can afford. Again, thanks!
Alan, thank you very much for these! Don't listen to ungrateful fools! Alan, could you make rototom library, please? Every time I play Time by Pink Floyd I struggle with the sounds. I found some old soundfounts, but they don't sound quite good. I wonder why they weren't sampled to this day.
Cakewalk Sonar pro 3 is not recognizing these plugins, either the x32 or the x64. Hmm, wazzup widdat?

I'm sure much work goes into crafting these plugins... but does anyone actually use them? I own IK's Philharmonik which has all the orchestral sounds I'd ever need and I don't even use that. I guess the dev is getting all the mileage he can of that U of I library.
IK Philharmonik is like more or less 3 weeks salary in India. Hope you're vegetarian and can eat some lawn! But anyway, I make instruments for fun and mainly because I was born poor and grew at a time there were no such tools to produce music. Doing and sharing this kind of small instrument is like giving a chance to the nowadays poor kid I was... Otherwise, these samples are genuine and sounds different than others libraries, every good producer should know that mixing different textures is a good thing. You may not have the need to use this kind of cymbals depending of your own style, but other might... Peace !
I find Alan's plugs to be pretty cool, especially his Marimbaphonic. And yes, I've been using it (Marimbaphonic) recently in a project and I am very pleased with the result. Layer it with a flute and put some ping pong delay after it, I promise you'll start to fly.... Peace!

Alan - I totally get what you say "I was born poor and grew up at a time when there were no such tools to produce music". That is me, too. I could never afford either the real instruments or the pricey sampling instruments that came out in the 80's, but thanks to caring, sharing devs like yourself, I now have these things to use and enjoy. So thank you again for your wonderful VSTs and for sharing them.

As for Alan, the instruments have very nice sounding, cymbalistic for example is one of the best hi hat, crash instrumentthingy I've ever seen. But if you have some expensive plugins they should put this in his own class, nowadays good free plugins.
