A lot of VSTi nowaday have a warmer and more analog sound than this synth. It is a pretty decent synth but does'nt have any feature that makes it stand out. Despite this, I must say that it is easy to use and has a lot of preset, quite a few are pretty usable presets. No MIDI learn so I will be harsh with my rating !
This one has support for tun files. There are not a lot of vsts that do what this does and also support of alternate tunings.

This is one of the best free VSTi out there, plain and simple. On top of that, its factory presets don't waste precious space with run-of-the-mill subtractive presets: each one is a unique creation that you can tweak to your heart's content, and without much CPU overhead. It will always be part of my VST collection!

This is an incredible machine that I have always loved playing with. I believe the beautiful GUI was created by ArtVera? It's a wonder it hasn't been given the praise it deserves.
