VSMINI is a 20 band vocoder effect plugin.

It features an internal carrier signal source with saw or noise and optional MIDI control.

Also an external signal can be used as the carrier on one channel of the stereo input, the other channel receives the modulation signal. An integrated noise generator for sibilance parts of the speach signal improves articulation quality.

FORCED DONATION = COMMERCIAL.

NOT free.

You're absolutely right. Or at least you would be, if that was the case, which it isn't. WOK is asking for donations, and it's true that some of the plugins he offers requires one, but this isn't one of them. You can download this freely.

Perfectly exact, Thohi. Only two of his instruments (Sam and Uncle Sam) and two effects (Stretcha, StretchBPM, Chipper and Superfake) and three MIDI tools (Clockwork, ClockworkNoLED, and MIDIstepper) are the only donationwares. On the total of his 50 products... 43 are totally free! To get them one has just to send him an email to receive the link, the email being send by filling a form in the page of the wanted product. These products are even grouped by bundles (all free except the three donationware bundles I told above.

And Wolfgang will never more change these pages, and I give him my warm support for that, because he faces a huge problem of health and has much more important things to think now than modifying these pages. 43 of his 50 products are totally free and the three bundles can be got for 10 bucks (minimum) each one and it is a very cheap price when considered the huge quality of these very few donationwares, and if it doesn't please some people, these people can perfectly pass their way.

All my warmest thoughts to Wolfgang and his family.

Jacques.
FORCED DONATION = COMMERCIAL.
.

What a nonsense. The download of VSMINI is completely free from the plugins archive pages:

http://wokwave.com/old-plugins/html/vsmini_vocoder_plugin_by_wok.html.

Also 95% of the other plugins are completely free to download. Only some extra plugins are reserved as a reward for a donation. The majority is free to download and use.

Annoying to read comments like this and the OP disappear after that and not having the guts to confess his mistake.

I can't get a fully wet signal out of this. No matter what I do, I still Hear the wet (vocoded) signal, plus the speech and carrier separately.

I know I have left and right going in correctly because I'm also using TAL Vocoder and when I bypass this, and enable TAL, it works correctly.

I'm just going to ask the "stupid" questions.:

- Is your "Out Mix" completely up / turned to the right?

- Is your "Unvoiced" turned all the way down? "Unvoiced" seems to try to replace voice-noise (i.e. S, T, K, F, etc.) with either white or pink noise. This does seem to bleed more of the modulator signal (the voice) through.

- Are you using the internal oscillator or a separate synth carrier? It's nice that the internal one is there, but I tend to find using a different carrier, such as f.ex. an ARP Solina, gives better results.

The Sennheiser is a different beast from modern vocoders, and Wolfgang's plugin, while in my opinion excellent, is even a limited version, with 90% of the controls shaved off.

Thanks for the quick reply. My Out Mix is all the way to the right, Unvoices is all the way to the left, and I have tried internal and external carriers. I always get dry bleed on the carrier and the modulator. I'm running Reaper.
