Yoin Reverberator is a distorted, effected reverb.

It is great for turning clean guitar sounds into sad boy music and can give vocals a bit of je ne sais quoi.

A interesting reverb! I think this is going to be useful if you use it in a somewhat slower song and if you want your reverb to cut through a dense mix (although you could achieve the same thing by just adding saturation or distortion plugin after your reverb.) I would agree with one of the reviews here that the lack of the reverb time is what kinda sets it back hence why the 4 star rating. For those who are kinda new in trying this plugin, here's my own understanding for each control and base from what I hear (for those who knew further please correct me) Speed: Speed of the modulation Depth: Depth of the modulation Mix: Blend between wet/dry signal Tightness: High-pass filter Sparkle: Low-pass filter Saturation: Subtle Distortion (or kinda like your saturation plugins) Crush: Drive (or distortion I guess?)

Hm. Interesting. Reminds me of ratshack reverb in that it's a lo-fi, pseudo-analog alternative to a super clean digital reverb. It has a very unique flavour to it. Realistically though, it's a pretty idiosyncratic tone and you aren't going to be reaching for this one too often. May or may not be worth cluttering up your DAW with this. Even with the mix set very low it adds a really weird ambience that is going to sound inappropriate in 9/10 reverb applications. I guess it's intended for guys making spooky, lo-fi style music. Hm. I may use this, if I ever remember that I have it.

This unique piece of software can turn simple waveforms into impressive sounding wind and brass-like instruments. The only reason I am giving it a 4/5 rating is the lack of a "time" knob.
